What do you do with a fork in the road? You pick it up and do something different with it, like make a wind chime. This is the first in my weekly blogs to make some drastic changes in my life. Starting with what i can do, then moving to the needs a good plan to get er done.
Nothing like a walk on the beach for reflection..
There comes a time in our lives for serious reflection. Usually is made visible with some fork in the road is approaching and neither road have we traveled before. Maybe its a new job, or loss of a job, sickness, divorce, and yes the big R retirement. For me its a look over my life with all the good and bad, i think its been an okay ride. Many things i would do differently, or wish would have had a much different outcome. Three wonderful children, and five grandchildren wow there a home run right there. But now the reflection comes into play, i have these wonderful families but i never get to spend time with them and enjoy their life events. Its one thing when your 40ish and we keep planning for an event next year. But usually life interferes and maybe half the plans come too completion. At 65 its another whole notha ball game, life and good health are not so much taken for granted. From a planned event and money saved, only to be spent on a doctor visit and rehab. So why am i mulling through my thoughts on paper? I am taking hard steps to change my next 10 years if possible, and i know the Lord is willing because its the way He told us to live in the first place. Micah 6:8 "he LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God" Join me over the next year as i post in my blog healthyrus.net/blog to see my progress and changes i am implementing in my life that may inspire you to join my. My quest is to simplify my life, get out of all debt, AND be able to visit my grand-kids when i want to... Posting ever Friday.
